Loaded Stuffed Peppers

Gorgeous green peppers are stuffed with a seasoned beef, sauce and tomato mixture. Top these peppers off with cheese for an obey, gooey comfort food that everyone will want to dive into!

Ingredients

  • 4-6 ripe green peppers
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 16 oz tomato sauce
  • 4 Tablespoons Allegro sauce, (Or substitute with Worcheshire sauce)
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon freshly minced parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400’F
  2. Cut the top off of the green peppers and remove all seeds. Set aside.
  3. Brown ground beef in large skillet. Add salt, pepper , parsley and Allegro sauce.
  4. Once meat is browned, stir in tomato sauce.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in cooked rice.
  6. Fill each pepper to the top with beef mixture.
  7. Place on an engrossed cookie sheet and cover peppers with foil.
  8. Bake for ten minutes, then remove the foil off of the peppers .
  9. Sprinkle each pepper with cheese, then return to oven and bake and additional ten minutes.
  10. Remove from oven and enjoy!
