Ingredients
Scale
- 4 oz Vanilla flavored almond bark coating
- 12 oz chocolate flavored almond bark coating
- 10 peppermint candies
Instructions
- Melt the coatings separately over low heat. Keep warm. You can use a double broiler, a pan over warm water, a warmer on the stove top or a microwave.
- Crush the mint candies with a food processor and mix all but 2-3 Tablespoons into the melted vanilla coating.
- Prepare an 11×14 cookie sheet by lining with parchment paper. It is important that the paper lay flat so it does not lift inside the candy as it hardens. To do this, cut the parchment paper to fit the pan. Use a cold stick of butter and rub the stick of butter along the outline of the pan. Add a large x through the center. This will help the paper stay flat and in place as you pour and spread the melted coating.
- Pour the mixed vanilla coating into the bottom of the pan and spread throughout the pan.
- Next, drizzle the chocolate coating over the vanilla in long lines or in a marbled fashion. Finish the marbled look by slightly stirring the mixture with the handle of a spatula.
- Sprinkle the remaining crushed peppermints on top. Tap the pan on the counter to allow the candies to settle in to the coatings.
- Let rest for a couple hours until hardened. Break into pieces and serve.
