Amazing Alfredo Sauce

With a few simple ingredients, you can make this amazing Alfredo Sauce that is super rich and creamy. Enjoy a homemade Alfredo Sauce today over some hot, buttered fettuccine noodles for a culinary adventure!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, smashed and sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded – plus more for serving
  • Parsley, optional for serving

Instructions

  1. Place a medium-sauced saucepan over medium heat and add butter.
  2. Once the butter is hot, add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the heavy cream, salt, pepper and seasoning, and continue to cook.
  4. Continue to cook the cream for 2 minutes, whisking constantly, then reduce heat to low.
  5. Add the shredded Parmesan cheese and whisk until completely melted.
  6. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  7. Serve immediately with additional Parmesan and parsley, if desired.
